The Pere Marquette Fire Department encourages residents to make sure that their house numbers are clearly visible, preferably at the driveway. Time is essential in emergency situations, and an address sign at the road can make a difference between life and death.
The Department continues to support and implement the ADDRESS SIGN POST project through the Mason County Firefighters’ Association. The sign posts are Carsonite composite construction, are durable and will not rust nor become brittle. The white posts have red reflective letters on both sides. The total cost, including post, numbers, and installation is only $25.
